Beautiful people, old grain silo's, crazy customs, and a wild party were all found at the wedding of April and Bryce at Normandy Farm in Blue Bell, PA. Here are a couple of my favorites from the day. Enjoy!
We spent an awesome day shooting with Jennifer and Eric in Philadelphia for their engagement portraits. We started by roaming around the historic cobblestone streets of Old City and worked our way across town to Ben Franklin bridge and the South Street Sea Port. Here we found "Gazela", a very ancient green and white Sailboat, which worked well with their nautical green and blue apparel. We planned to do a clothing change and shoot a few night photos at a downtown rooftop bar, but on our way to grab a taxi downtown, I saw an excellent opportunity to silhouette the city behind the couple and well you can view a sample of their images below..
Going to the beach in the fall usually sounds pretty boring and miserable due to the temperature of the air and water. In fact one would usually need a wet suit to enter the ocean in October, well one couple turned that argument upside down. Wedding dress and the jumping in the ocean usually don't end up in the same without an angry bride. Going into the trash the dress shoot with Joel and Brigitta I knew it was bound to be a crazy day due to the wild wedding in Mexico that I shot earlier in the summer. By the end of the wedding, the entire bridal party and the guests had jumped into a beach-side pool just for the fun of it, fancy dresses and suits included. A storming, windy day made for some amazing photography results and ended up being one of my favorite shoots of the year.
